My Amazon Fasion Week AW16 Day4 Diary in Collaboration With POPxo

Day4 of AIFWAW16 started on a rather wet note and it still didn’t discourage me from wearing white to the fashion week. Bam!!..

Gloomy weather decided to intensify into torrential rain, causing the whole Fashion frenzy to stand still till it stopped very late in the evening. And it stopped just in time for me to be able to attend the most surprising launch event at the Amazon fashion lounge with fellow fashion enthusiasts. I was taken by surprise when I was asked to pick a slip and guess the new brand launching at Amazon.in by its description. Lucky me, I figured the brand that would be available exclusively online on Amazon, apart from its only store in India. Yes, I am talking about everyone’s favorite casual and accessible apparel brand, all the way from New York- Aeropostale. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get better pictures from the event because of the rains. I could only manage a couple of shots from my phone camera.

But I was fortunate enough to share the same frame with Amazon India‘s Fashion Guru and Indian Fashion’s industry’s veteran, Narendra Kumar Ahmed during the launch event. We didn’t just get clicked, but also got interviews by him. And this, you guys, for me was the highlight of Fashion Week’s top 10 moments in my diary. Suddenly, the pain of getting drenched in the rain was forgotten and I couldn’t stop smiling. Because of this interesting collaboration with POPxo for AIFW, I could also be a part of this launch event which gave me my moment with a veteran that I grew looking upto.

That was, unfortunately, the only show I could attend that day because of the weather. And I am already looking forward for the next season and another amazing association with team POPxo.

Also, a moment of silence( and appreciation) for my almost white OOTD, which is an amalgam of my two closets from the same family. Yes, I am wearing my dad’s shirt like a fancy off-shoulder blouse, paired with a well fitted boot-cut denim and accessorized by floral brooches from ‘Not So Serious by- Pallavi Mohan’.
