The Time I dressed for a Sikh Wedding!! Desii OOTD

Also, the time I made my Sikhni Momma proud( insert wink emoticon) and made a very elegant sister of the Groom.

I absolutely love day weddings; there is something so surreal, serene and pure about them that makes me want to get married. I feel that everything during the day looks better, feels better and pictures too come out better.. This post is not about what I feel about day weddings, because honetly, I can go on and on, but the post is about the look I wore to this particular wedding I attended, on the last Sunday of December.

It was my second cousin’s wedding, who happens to be Sikh. My mom is a Sardani, that makes me half Sikh, and that’s were I get my Sikhni swag from, so, the Siknhi avatar(I don t leave any opportunity to dress like one). Also, I believe that aviators with a Punjabi suit are a match made in heaven, very Punjabi Thug. Together they amplify a Desii look to Street Style Desii. This post is shot by my Maamu ( My Mom’s Brother), who happens to be a very good photographer. Follow himĀ HERE

P.S.- These pictures are from my family album, not exclusively shot for blog.
